Eight hundred dollars? Yes, please. Original poems, essays, and works of fiction are now being accepted for the Bruner writing competition. A first-place award of $200 is available in each of four categories. The deadline for submissions is Friday, March 6th. Are you fluent in two or more languages? Take the Seal of Biliteracy test and get recognized for your skills! Depending on your test results, you could earn credit at the high school and college levels. Employers will see this honor on your transcript which will also unlock further opportunities! Thank you to all that have donated to our polar plunge team! We have raised $2,500 and hope to hit our goal of $5,000 by this Sunday! Currently Galesburg High School is beating us. WE CAN NOT LET THAT HAPPEN so keep those donations coming!! Titan Nation has won most money raised by a school for 10 plus years! We need to keep our title. Sadies tickets are now on sale, and will be available until February 27. The cost is $5 in advance or $10 at the door. If you are planning to bring a guest who doesn’t attend MRHS, don’t forget to get the approval form from the office. Tickets can be purchased before school, during advisory, or from Mrs. Lewis in the LMC anytime except 4th period.
