There will be a meeting for boys soccer players from last year’s team in Coach Adolphson’s room right after school today. Please bring your uniforms and all school issued equipment.
The wrestling team traveled to Kewanee Friday for a dual with Princeton. Earning wins were Landon Peterson by tech fall with score of 17-1, Juan Ayala by decision by score of 15-13, Keegan Smith by tech fall with a score of 20-3, and Sailas Cung by forfeit. The Titans fell to Princeton, final score 19-42. Saturday the wrestling team traveled to Kewanee for the Kewanee invitational. Jacque Keka went 0-2 on the day and placed 5th, Landon Peterson went 4-0 on the day, placing 1st with 3 pinfalls and one major decision by score of 15-3, Juan Ayala went 1-2 on the day with one pinfall, Keegan Smith went 3-2 on the day with 3 pinfalls, placing 4th overall, Diego Gutierrez went 1-2 on the day with one pinfall, and Sailas Cung went 2-2 on the day with 2 pinfalls and placing 4th overall. The Titans placed 11th out of 22 teams and will take the mat again tonight at home for Senior Night in a triangular vs. Knoxville and Riverdale.
